Northside Dinner

Join your Northside neighbors and friends for a Sunday Supper at the Warner Park Community Recreation Center. Along with the Center, the Northside Farmer’s Market and Northside Planning Council are coordinating a community supper and open gym on Sunday, May 20 from 5 to 7 pm.

A meal will be served at 5pm, the gym will open at 5:30 for kids (and adults), and at 6 pm coffee and dessert will be served in the lobby. Food will be provided at no cost though nominal donations will be accepted. The center is normally closed on Sundays from May through August but is opening for this special Sunday Supper event. Another Sunday Supper is being planned for August, possibly as an outdoor picnic. If successful, these gatherings may become a regular Northside event.

Planning was in the works for the May 20th Sunday Supper prior to recent Northside violence but the time is right now more than ever for the community to come together, share a meal, and have some fun.

Volunteers are needed to help with food preparation, serving, clean-up, helping with gym activities, and contributing desserts. To help or for more information contact NPC Executive Director at 661-0060 ext. 2 or see www.northsidemadison.org.
