Vote Oct 11th!

Just another way Voter ID or the Voter Suppression Act is costing us more money. It’s ridiculous the city has to do this, but probably irresponsible not to.

Good afternoon.

The Madison City Clerk’s Office will simulate an election on Tuesday, October 11, to test various methods of voter ID implementation and determine how much time each method requires. The goal is to determine the most efficient process and then implement that process at City of Madison polling places in 2012.

We have already scheduled Election Officials to work, but we still need people to be the voters in this “election.” We would like to invite city employees who work in the City-County Building or the Madison Municipal Building to drop in and participate as our voters (with your supervisor’s permission, of course):

Tuesday, October 11
10:30 a.m. – 1:30 p.m.
City-County Building Room 108
210 Martin Luther King Jr Blvd

You do not need to be a Madison resident to participate. We appreciate your help!

Can’t wait to hear the results.
