HUMAN SERVICES – NO CUTS PLEASE
I can’t wait for the day when we can talk about what we need to provide needed services, instead of begging not to be cut.

Free. Registration required. Rain date is Sunday, Sep 12, 10:00am
To register visit our website www.affordablehome.org or call us at (608) 280-0131.

MACLT is offering Dane County Time Bank “time dollars” to Time Bank members that participate in the food forest installation. To become a member visit their website: www.danecountytimebank.org.

A “food forest” is a great concept for all homeowners in the city. It is not costly to install and it is easy to maintain. The project will teach people how and what to plant. The food forest will include fruits, nuts, vegetables, herbs, and other useful plants in a way that mimics natural ecosystems. That means the garden takes care of itself!

The home at 1921 Beld Street is a Land Trust renovated home that is currently for sale to a qualified first-time home buyer. For information about this home or the MACLT, please contact Michael Carlson at (608) 280-0131 or by email at michael@affordablehome.org.

We thank the Kailo Fund for making this demonstration of tools for sustainable, resilient living possible in our community.
