Agenda Items #6 – # 11 are PUBLIC HEARING ITEMS

The following items are extra-majority items to be included on the consent agenda with request for unanimous vote:
25. Legislative File No. 36895 – Amending the 2015 adopted Operating Budget of the Parking Utility to create a new 1.0 FTE position of Engineering Program Specialist 1 (CG16, R17) and to apply Parking Utility reserves to fund the position. (Report of BOE – 15 votes required)

36. Legislative File No. 37097 – SUBSTITUTE Authorizing the execution of a Purchase and Sale Agreement between the City of Madison and Graybar Electric Company, Inc. for the purchase of property located at 1301 West Badger Road for the location of a warehouse and distribution facility for the Public Library and authorizing an amendment to the Capital Budget to fund the purchase of the property, complete the design and construction process and begin renovation of the property. (Report of BOE – 15 votes required)

39. Legislative File No. 37126 – Amending the 2015 budget to appropriate $9,084 from the Contingent Reserve to Police Department for the assignment of an additional Adult School Crossing Guard. (Report of BOE – 15 votes required)

24. Legislative File No. 36685 Directing City staff to assess the suitability of and identify financing for the City to purchase the property located at 910 Ann Street to Land Bank for future redevelopment opportunities and, if determined to be suitable and funding sources are identified, authorizing the initiation of negotiations to purchase the property. (Report of BOE – Ald. Chris Schmidt, Council President – Recommended Action: Re-refer to future BOE meeting)

15. Legislative File No. 36612 – Authorizing the Mayor and City Clerk to enter into an agreement with Dane County for the following purposes in the calendar year 2015: (1) providing the Transit Utility with MA Waiver Community Integration Program (CIP) funding; (2) providing Dane County with State 85.20 funding by the Transit Utility for the County’s provision of accessible transportation for persons unable to use the Transit Utility’s paratransit services within its service area. (Business by President – Ald. Chris Schmidt, Council President – Recommended Action: ADOPT)

86. Legislative File No. 37335 SUBSTITUTE Authorizing the Mayor and the City Clerk to enter into an agreement with Destree Design Architects Inc, in the amount of $55,000 $45,000 for additional architectural and engineering design services to complete the construction documents for a Park Restroom Prototype Building and the Lake Edge Park Restroom. (New Business for Referral – Substitute was created and should be referred)
