21. Legislative File No. 21481 – To approve the Madison Sustainability Plan.
AGENDA NOTE: This item is at this meeting for the purpose of adding Referral to the Water Utility Board at the request of Alder Cnare.

22. Legislative File No. 22661 – Creating new Sec. 8.19(3) and amending Sec. 1.08(3)(a) of the Madison General Ordinances to create ordinances that prohibit bringing animals, radio controlled toys, sound amplification devices and loaded firearms into the zoo. The ordinances prohibits harassing zoo animals, smoking, consuming alcohol, trespassing, feeding animals, bike riding, skateboarding, rollerblading and riding a scooter on zoo property.

AGENDA NOTE: This item is at this meeting for the purpose of adding Referral to the Public Safety Review Committee at the request of Alder Ellingson.

57. Legislative File No. 22927 – Authorizing the City to apply to the Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources for a Ready to Reuse Brownfields Cleanup loan in an amount not to exceed $2,000,000 for the purpose of assisting in the remediation and demolition of the former Royster Clark property.

Board of Health for Madison and Dane County met on 6/30/11 and recommended that ALDO, in its original form, be supported and enforced and that alcohol outlet density continue to be part of a multi-pronged community-wide strategy to address public health problems related to alcohol.
