Most people thought ULI was lying when they said that they talked to the co-op, but they had. And the co-op is thinking about it.
A neighbor contacted them, asking if it was true and this was the answer.
Thanks for writing us with your question. It is true that the Co-op is evaluating the need for an additional site, and exploring possible options for it. We are currently discussing a site on East Washington Avenue with Urban Land Interests, but nothing is set or even planned at this point – far from it, in fact! We’re really only in the exploratory stage at this point, and fairly early in it to boot.

ULI was telling the truth.
Seems silly to have another location so close but it’d be a few minutes closer to me so I wouldn’t mind. Maybe they’re thinking about splitting off only part of the store like the butchers or seafood center?
