In regards to this editorial, I sent the following letter:
I just wanted to let you know that with today’s ridiculous editorial, If the “budget repair” bill passes, I will be canceling my subscription to your paper.
I am just curious since the Republicans shut down debate after one day, when exactly could the teachers be heard? Do you really think that a rally after work in Green Bay has the same effect as thousands of people at the Capitol? If the Green Bay rally was so important did you cover it? I missed the story and accompanying pictures if you did, maybe you can guide me to it. Many of the teachers “students and community” were walking side by side with the teachers(and firefighters, nurses, police officers, construction workers, social workers, etc..) in a very teachable moment.
It would be nice if they could sit down with Governor Walker and air their grievances, but he seems to be too busy going on Fox News to have time to spend with his constituents.
Thank you
Just in case anyone is interested in doing the same:

I’m amazed that with less than 1,000 people representing the tea party at the Capitol yesterday, out of the approximate 70,000 protesters, our local TV channels, made it sound like there was comparable support for Walker’s budget repair bill. Misleading media coverage is widespread.
